began early

I used to smuggle roadkill into the house despite my mother's preference for flowers.

 

Jane Wilson-Howarth mother, physician, author and zoologist, is an authority on travel health. She has lived in the East for long enough to be able to say diarrhoea in nine Asian languages. So far five novels (four for children) and five of her non-fiction books have been published as well as around 300 articles on travel and health plus tales published in several anthologies.

    An excellent story, well told, which will appeal to children and adults alike. It provides a range of observations on the local environment, wildlife and peoples of Nepal to stimulate the reader's imagination and encourage further reading on this fascinating country.
