I used to smuggle roadkill into the house despite my mother's preference for flowers.

 

Jane Wilson-Howarth mother, physician, author and zoologist has lived in the East for long enough to be able to say diarrhoea in nine Asian languages. She's become an authority on travel health. So far five novels (four for children) and five of her non-fiction books have been published as well as around 300 articles on travel and health plus stories published in several anthologies.

    A great tale for teenagers, already available to read on kindle (see reviews on Amazon). The audiobook is engagingly narrated by the author and augmented with atmospheric sounds of local birds.

    How to Shit Around the World

    My friend in Holland to whom I'd sent a copy of "Shitting Pretty" in Dutch was thrilled with it. I thought it might be of general interest to her as she's a keen traveller but something you, Jane, had written about warm food reminded her of a distinctly dodgy breakfast she'd eaten in Tanzania years ago. She reckons that at last she may have got to the root of her long-term digestive problems.
