We were in England when the earthquakes struck Nepal in April 2015 but were invited into the BBC Radio Cambridgeshire studio to talk about the tragic situation in Kathmandu. I valued the chance to do a double act on air with my quiet husband especially as he knows Nepal even better than I do.
Now we are finally back living in Nepal again it was interesting revisiting this. The relief efforts are over now but people continue to suffer.
We are both trying to contribute a little to the long slow process of recovery and it is sobering to reflect, three years on, how much more there is still to do. Here's our short soundbite on Nepal. It is just over 5 minutes long.
