The Real Madagascar - for kids
Tuesday 26 Aug 2025
Images of entearing lemurs, camoflaged chamaeleons and cave-dwelling crocodiles - what's not to like?
As part of a mini season of author talks at Rock Road Library, I'm giving an illustrated talk showing what the real Madagascar is like, where female lemurs are definitely in charge but the foosa really does hunt them, and how real wildlife experts have to study poo. I will share lots of impressive photos of wild animals including cave-dwelling crocodiles and I’ll read from my book “Madagascar Misadventure”.
The talk is aimed at 8 - 12 year olds but all welcome including aspiring childrens authors and Madagascar fans.
3.15 - 4.30pm Rock Road public library, 69 Rock Road, Cambridge CB1 7UG
This is a free event but booking is essential via Mad Talk at Rock
